What is lip blushing? 

Lip blushing is a semi-permanent make up that can enhance the natural shape, color and give the impression of the fullness. By implanting beautifully colored pigments into the uppermost lip tissue by way of a highly advanced cosmetics machine, here we are able to redefine the lip borders and add a flush of color to bring life back into the lips. The perfection lips can give you a healthy-looking lip and save you from having to wear lipstick. This application can last 1-2 years.

Before your appointment:

• Keep your lip fully moisturized with a lip ointment like Aquaphor or Vaseline starting from a week prior to the procedure.

• Filler should be done at least four weeks prior before your lip appointment .

• Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, fish oil or any other blood thinners in one week to reduce the risk of swelling and bruising.

• Inform your specialist about any lip sores prior to your treatment. You may be required to take some anti-viral medication prior to your procedure. Consult your doctor before your appointment. 

After care:

Day 0-1: Avoid hot drinks and soup for 24 hours,apply thin layer healing cream with a clean finger tip or Q-tip to keep the  treatment area moisturized throughout the day.

Day 1-7: after every meal gently clean and dry your lip, re-apply healing cream. 

Do not pitch the scabs.

Do not apply lipstick makeup during the healing process.

Drink through a straw when you drink coffee.

Avoid spicy foods for two weeks. 

Avoid heavy sweating, saunas, steams and swimming for two weeks.
